Job Description

• Set the UI/UX direction for the company; communicate the goals of the design to all the stakeholders
• Drive white-boarding sessions to conceptualise, design, and prototype solutions
• Design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interaction specifications, and functional prototypes
• Create compelling visual designs and experiences that provoke curiosity, make an emotional connect with the user, and are easy and intuitive to use
• Work in close collaboration with product managers, developers, sales, operations, and the management team
• Present your designs in a clear cogent manner to diverse audiences; must be able to explain rationale for design decisions within the larger context
• Facilitate customer and user workshops to analyse user behaviour; respond to testing outcomes through iterative design practices

Skills

• Talented, passionate about everything design, an obsession for details, with strong visual design skills
• Fluency in best practices for web and mobile based design with a strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Experience designing complex applications for both web and mobile (Android in particular)
• Proficiency creating design deliverables like wireframes, mockups, prototypes etc.
• Understanding of A/B testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Would be good to have 3-5 years experience. If you have more experience that's fine too
• Enthusiasm\passion for working in the area of telematics

Languages\Tools and Education

• Proficiency designing and prototyping with a variety of tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Axure, Keynote, After Effects
• Ability to rapid prototype in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 a strong plus
• B.Des./GDPD or equivalent from a reputed institute is desirable; any UX/HCI certification is a plus

Job Description

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement the complete UX and UI for the products
• Introduce new tools such as Sketch for design activities
• Create well-structured user tests, setup role-plays and paper prototypes and optimize the workflow
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and customers
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Skills

• Proven UI experience
• Developing leading-edge web UI, for both desktop and mobile, using the latest technologies and patterns, incl. HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, SASS, LESS, Javascript, Sencha ExtJS, JQuery Mobile etc.
• Write high-performance, reusable code and work closely with design and technical teams to translate the design vision to web/mobile
• A team player who enjoys collaborating with others and is a quick learner with interest in new and emerging technologies and has strong communication skills
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
• Good understanding of current UI guidelines for iOS, Android and the Web. Should be able to handle multi-platform design
• Good insight into current web & app design trends and related creative spaces
• Strong communication skills
• Certification /Degree Usability /Interaction design will be preferred
