Job Description

We are currently seeking a User Interface/User Experience Designer who is passionate about improving the user experience. He or she will demonstrate a strong sense of visual design paired with the ability to assemble different features into a unified web experience, distilling complex interfaces into simple solutions that users find compelling and easy-to-use. The candidate must be a natural collaborator and a great communicator, able to develop and present design ideas to various stakeholders and be responsible for developing web, mobile and cross channel designs through individual contribution and participation in teams.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. The candidate must excel at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centred design methodologies is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Executing interaction design and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Researching interaction design trends
• Researching technology trends
• Experience in both mobile and desktop users
• Able to quickly iterate through multiple concepts and designs, effectively incorporating feedback
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into effective visual solutions
• Comprehensive understanding of "best practice" design solutions
• Enthusiastic team player, effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and analytic skills
• Detail oriented and able to think abstractly and see the big picture
• Self-starter, able to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Skills

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with user interface design methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of common Web project management practices

• After Effects, rendering and animation
• Motion graphics design and production

Job Description

Work Qualifications

1+ years experience in graphic design for a design studio, agency, or in-house creative department
An excellent understanding of basic design principles, including, but not limited to typography, color, balance, and information hierarchy
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign
Experience with Invision etc to create interactive wireframes, web layouts, etc.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Powerpoint and Microsoft Word
Experience with both digital and print production specs
The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, particularly when it comes to communicating ideas and design rationale clearly
Experience with responsive web design layouts and working knowledge of html/css is a plus
The ability to work independently with self-direction and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Work with the product team to develop interactive mockups
Develop graphics for company websites, emails and products
Create powerpoint slide deck designs, illustrations, and templates
Design print materials such as brochures, standees, visiting cards etc as and when required

• Work as liaison between product manager and engineering to convert requirements to compelling user experience & feature
• Eye for detail with good understanding of user behaviour and UX design pattern
• Manages complete UX portfolio for NoBroker.in website & mobile apps
• Design’s & Develops wire frames & functional prototypes
• Understand user feedback to incorporate changes in the website/mobile design.
