Job Description

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, motivations, and behaviors.
• Create user personas, user journeys, and other UX artifacts to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into user-centered design solutions.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation of designs meets usability and design specifications.
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process.
• Active involvement in client communication.

Skills

• Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design work and process.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience of working on ecommerce projects will be preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

Skills

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
