Job Description

• Understanding and analyzing user and business requirements and converting them into design specs, task-flows, IAs, wireframes, and UI.
• Tracking user engagement data, validating mock-ups with users, and doing usability study for analyzing user experience and defining the UX strategy to continuously improve the user experience.
• Understanding user persona in-depth and developing a strong user empathy.
• Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and the QA team to ensure high quality and timely delivery of features.
• Collaborate with fellow designers to seek and provide feedback on work, ensure a high degree of quality, and build a cohesive UX for the product.
• Be enthusiastic to present the work to validate it, and at the same time evangelize user-centered design, and user experience in general.

Job Description

• As UI designer in Zycus, you will be responsible for producing original end-to-end UI design, motion design, illustration, iconography, and prototyping.
• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints
• Understanding of best practices, as well as knowledge of analysis, research and/or design principles and techniques.
• You will be a bridge between the product design and the front-end engineering in translating the designed experience into detailed UI specifications.
• You will be shipping the final UI in accordance with the guidelines while maintaining the highest standards in the visual aesthetics.
• You will work closely with the lead experience designers and product managers, under the guidance to gather context and design the final UI based on wireframes finalized & agreed upon with product, design, & business stakeholders.
• You will be responsible for the product UI right from the design stage all the way until the experience is shipped to Development.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in visual design software, such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, Zeplin, and Invision.
• Demonstrated experience in designing interfaces for consumer experiences at scale.
• Have a good knowledge of design systems and how it is works
• Must have a portfolio showcasing recent works as live experiences or preferably in the form of prototypes, but less of static comps.
• Visualize complex user scenarios and provide simple and effective solutions keeping in mind the capabilities and limitations of technology.
• Up-to-date with the current mobile apps, UI trends and Design and interaction solutions.
• Create high-quality visual guidelines and maintain design consistency throughout the product(s).
• Demonstrate craft in visual design, user interface design and typography while being an expert in iconography, illustration & motion design.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentational skills to ensure you effectively communicate your designs and all the decisions that shaped it, with the Project manager and UX designers.
• Excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, colour, iconography, visual identity design and appropriate visual design techniques for different delivery mediums
