Job Description

Ensure all final design deliverables for projects are pixel perfect Lead the way for design standards: bring new ideas, showcase specialist skills, and develop the quality of all creative output. Function both as an individual contributor and project leader, collaborating with product and engineering teams on their needs. Manage and execute design work from project goals to execution, validation and final handoff to engineers. Deliver experiences that are optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces, including phone, tablet and desktop. Facilitate the adoption of UX and design thinking across design, product and engineering teams. Act as a collaborator with mid/junior designers and align work between project squads to ensure consistent experience.

Skills

• Experience designing web and mobile applications.
• Strong command of usability and design techniques such as: usability testing, heuristic evaluation, paper prototyping, wire-framing, storyboarding, sitemap creation and card sorting.
• Has experience collaborating with stakeholders across design, product management, and engineering.
• Has a robust portfolio of iterative software work including data visualisation examples.
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe package (Illustrator, Photoshop, AE) and interface design tools (Figma),Adobe XD, Sketch,Zephlin or InVision.
• Experience with user experience design, accessibility is a plus.
• UX Design, Interaction Design, Prototyping, User empathy, Information architecture, Visual design.
