Job Description

Collaborate with UX designers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience. Independently execute all visual design stages- from concept to final hand-off to engineering. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex products. Create moodboards, pixel perfect UI design mockups, detailed interactions prototypes, design systems or other design artefacts as required. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.) Work hand in hand with the engineering team to ship the approved designs to production. Present and defend design decisions with ease. Participate in user research and evaluate user feedback. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

Skills

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary product team.
• Experience with digital products, mobile apps, websites, landing pages.
• Working knowledge of accessibility principles
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio focused on results.
• Solid experience in creating moodboards, UI design mockups, detailed interaction prototypes, design systems, style guides etc.
• Advanced level design and prototyping proficiency in Adobe XD.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Familiarity with basic front-end languages: HTML, Javascript etc to know how design translates into code.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
