We at BYJU’S are seeking a smart and experienced Product designer to join our Experience Design (UX/UI) team in an exciting and fast-paced organization. The ideal designer will have a passion for tackling complex problems and designing elegant, simple solutions that surprise and delight users. You should be a guide in information architecture with visual design aesthetics and a blend of both industry best practices and a unique creative eye. The role Provide design leadership through influence, judgment, communication, and collaboration to drive product decisions. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 10 million+ users Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality Partner with PMs, engineers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment

Skills

• The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision
• Experience in building and shipping applications or software
• Design portfolio with examples of interactions and visuals across web and mobile applications.
• Expert knowledge & an intimate relationship with design tools such as Sketch, Principle, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Able to function independently and in a team environment with excellent collaboration skills.

As a Senior/Lead Visual UI/UX Designer, your creativity, leadership, passion, and perseverance will combine with your skill set to help you imagine and delight users with design that inspires, engages, and excites them.You’ll rely on user-centered design principles to produce high-quality visuals — from concept to execution — across many platforms. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your fellow designers to constantly refine the BYJU’S design language and create innovative, great-looking products that Students (our primary users) across the world love to use.

Skills

• Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
• Familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android and iOS.
• Proven ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale.
• Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.

Job Description

Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences. Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products. Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Design Visually appealing interfaces that add polish and appeal Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. Collaborate with other product managers, developers, team members and stakeholders. Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

Skills

• Two or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital and mobile environments.
• Expertise in UX software such as InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer.js, Quartz Composer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design.
• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
• Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
