Job Description

Producing end-to-end UX design deliverables for Teradata Products. Create enterprise data-centric web applications. Work closely with Product Managers & Customers to understand the vision and goals of the product / cloud service to deliver the best UX. Understand requirements, user stories , workflows and translate them into designs (UI mockups-static and responsive) based on Covalent framework that exhibit simple, delightful interactions. Ability to think through complex enterprise workflows, balance user needs and business needs. Work closely with full-stack and backend engineers to validate workflows and API integrations.

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in user interface design, human-computer interaction, and usability. Experience of designing B2B SaaS a bonus.
• A preacher and practitioner of Design Thinking. Strong experience in web application / mobile application UX design.
• Expert skills in Sketch, Axure, Invision, Photoshop etc.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, Javascript , Angular 2 and material design a bonus.
• Thrive in a fast paced, agile team and make decisions that impact products positively.
• Proven track record of having worked with engineers, researchers and product managers.
• Strong problem-solving skills, Communication skills,quick learner and team player.

Job Description

Build cutting-edge, maintainable user interfaces for our suite of products Implement common components that can be reused by other team members Collaborate on cross-functional agile teams that include Front-end Developers, Service Developers and Product Owners to implement the next generation of our products Provide technical guidance to junior team members Work closely with Product Owners to develop beautiful, usable UIs and creative visualizations Stay abreast of UI technology trends and industry best practices to hone and maintain your talent

Skills

• Proven experience in architecting and implementing beautiful, usable, high-performance UIs
• Mastery of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript with solid design and coding skills
• Strong understanding of single page application best practices, UI performance optimization techniques, web standards and cross-browser compatibility.
• Prior experience with Angular 1.x (Angular2/Angular Material experience is a plus)
• Prior experience with CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Experience integrating UI clients with JSON-based REST services
• Experience with client-side and e2e testing technology such as Karma, Protractor or Jasmine.
• Experience using a continuous integration stacks and client-side build/dependency management tools such as grunt, gulp, bower, npm, JIRA, SVN/GIT, Bamboo, Crucible/Stash, etc
• The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in web-based UI applications with a passion for the latest technologies
• Java development knowledge is a plus
