Job Description

Candidate will drive design from insights and raise the creative design bar for the organisation . Ideas will be validated through user studies conducted with any available tools at hand including purpose built prototypes. Knowledge of interaction design would be an added advantage and when necessary, candidate should be able to create low fidelity mocks , wireframes and prototypes that may be used to generate debate and aid decisions. Candidate will strive to continuously improve the product design with performance measurements, industry benchmarks and usability analysis. Candidates ability to stay abreast UX trends will make sure that operations interfaces take advantage of the latest developments and always look trendy. Candidates will be responsible for the design documentation and presentations.

Skills

• A remarkable portfolio that demonstrates excellence in composition as desired for this role. Experience in graphic design and product management knowledge throughout product life cycle.
• Mastery of the principals of design, color theory, typography and graphics file creation optimized for digital products . Additional Qualifications Experience defining or maintaining design documents.
• Knowledge of usability, human psychology. Unwavering attention to detail and an acute awareness that everything counts. Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business and user interaction priorities
• Demonstrate business acumen and customer-centricity Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with customers in a professional manner, maintaining effective written and oral skills
• Exceptional computer skills using Adobe Creative Cloud , FIGMA , and publishing tools. Strong time management skills and ability to deal with ambiguity, self-prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Self-starter with bias for action who is customer-obsessed, has exceptional attention to detail, and is an enthusiastic team player

Skills

• Ability to take on a design challenge and think through the solution in terms of business impact, user experience and engineering overhead
• Appreciation and proven usage of UI/UX best practices with hands-on experience in visual design process
• Self-starter attitude and an excellent ability to communicate
• Ability to collaborate in an effective manner, ensuring a conducive work environment while capitalizing on each-others skills. Work with other designers, engineering teams and product management to drive through design ideas.
• Familiarity with Agile systems and able to proactively take up market insights
• Substantial experience with familiarity of design principles applicable across SaaS product, operations/ campaign management tools.
• Self-managed with high degree of ownership, accountability and work ethics. Can accurately estimate the impact, work load and delivery timelines for a predictable development plan
• Have passion for great user experience that impacts the business.
• Experience working in an international B2B company - an advantage
• Experience in building prototypes in Axure - an advantage
