Job Description

Utilizing your experience of Responsive web design and grid frameworks such as Material Design / Bootstrap Developing clean, efficient, maintainable and extendable HTML, CSS and JavaScript Using your experience and initiative to suggest appropriate approaches, methods and technologies to use on projects Collaborating between the UX designer and the development to deliver seamless UI interface Working closely with the User Experience Designer, performing optimized tests to increase conversion and user engagement Performing code reviews and conducting functional testing to ensure standards are understood and being followed Creating and maintaining a library of common UI (User Interface) modules components & tools Effectively communicating with the wider IT team and key stakeholders

Skills

• 2 years minimum experience within the UI industry, operating as a UI developer or similar
• Experience of AngularJS, MVC or similar JavaScript framework
• Familiar with CSS and JavaScript browser compatibility issues and solutions
• Command line experience of Git, NPM and Bower
• Proficient with Sass or similar CSS pre-processor (eg LESS)
• Able to run automated tasks using Gulp or similar (eg Grunt)
• Strong customer focus, business knowledge and commercial awareness
• Ability to develop effective working partnerships with internal and external teams
• A full understanding of Agile project delivery life cycles
• Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Highly developed communication skills and proven ability to communicate clearly with project lead
