Job Description

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with a proven experience in designing amazing and intuitive customer experiences. The ideal candidate would have experience in startups, creative problem-solving skills, deep attention to detail and a passion for delighting users. You will work with various stakeholders such as designers, product managers, and developers.

Skills

· Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.

· A whiz at Sketch, Photoshop, Atomic.io, InVision, Zeplin and Jira,

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.

· Solid experience in creating wireframes, mockups, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.

· Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.

· Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.

· Problem solving skills and independent self-direction

· Proficiency in creating responsive web sites that work on various devices such as Mobile, Tablets and Desktop.

· Ability to communicate/interact/collaborate effectively in a team. Strong background in creative and graphics design

· Knowledge of PHP and MVC is an added advantage.

· Portfolio demonstrating expert use of typography, color, imagery, grid systems, and well-crafted animation/transitions

· Portfolio demonstrating sound product thinking through navigation, user flows, interaction design and information architecture

· While not a requirement, we look for experience hand-coding HTML/CSS and JS and a fundamental understanding of responsive web design standard methodologies (bonus points if you’ve used LESS or SCSS and GitHub)
