Job Description

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the design lead and engineers Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps Design compelling graphic user interfaces with the ability to create a unique user experience Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like Build page navigation buttons and search fields Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches and tables) Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness) Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images

Skills

• A strong eye for visual composition, typography & colour for print media (reports, infographics, brochures, flyers)
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print, and digital media
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, with experience in conceptual and design thinking
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline • Retouch and manipulate images
• Ability to work with a wide range of media from design to graphics
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects).
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience of liaising with printers, knowledge about printing production and techniques
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
• A team player
• A strong portfolio (in PDF format) is a MUST
