Job Description

As a key member of our design team, you will contribute to instilling design thinking within the team and collaborating with the broader product department. Your role will involve brainstorming, creating wire-frames, user flows, and both Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi designs, always with a user-centric approach and a realistic view of technical capabilities. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite is essential, along with familiarity with plugins and quick prototyping techniques. You should also have a solid understanding of design-to-development handoff processes, including considerations for multiple operating systems, box model, and layouts, to ensure designs are implemented accurately. A passion for leveraging data to inform design decisions is a plus, as you will have the opportunity to refine designs based on analytics feedback. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Front-End and Back-End developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively.

Skills

• Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in visual design, including layout, color, typography, and iconography.
• Experience creating engaging and intuitive user interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across devices.
• Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly UI elements, such as buttons, forms, navigation bars, and interactive components.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusive design.
• Experience conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback into design iterations.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into visually compelling designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to design implementation and QA processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality design solutions.

Job Description

Define and design functionality, user flows, and interfaces using current and new design languages. Adapting and enhancing existing designs and UX flows, considering factors such as competition, market dynamics, target audience preferences, and more. Creating newer App versions as per market and business requirements. Creating App mock-ups for business pitches and management presentations. Closely collaborating with product owners, developers and other stakeholders for successful completion of the above 3 tasks. Using data and user testing to understand user needs, problem areas and opportunities. Create user-centric prototypes and UI designs. Generate new ideas and prototype solutions and possibilities. Create user journeys, flows and wire frames. Actively participate in user research and testing to identify what works and what needs work.

Skills

• Proficiency in working on tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud etc and handy with plugins and quick prototyping.
• A strong UX/UI design portfolio of your past work.
• A person who obsesses with Design Systems (not style guide) and Design Tokens and has created and managed them for a product including color theory, typography, spacing, tone and tonality, etc.
• A product-minded and consumer-centric approach.
• Translates data, user research and usability testing results into optimized designs
• Strong knowledge of user interface design processes, methodology, and best practices
• Demonstrates end-to-end web and app design experience from concept to release
• Conveys design ideas clearly and prototypes concepts quickly
• Ability to communicate and collaborate, especially with development teams.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and communicate your ideas to developers, product teams, business teams and other relevant stakeholders.
