Job Description

The User Experience Designer role is mission critical to helping create (strategy, research, design, innovation, implement, maintain, optimize) a UI/UX practice. This is a role that will challenge you to push the organization’s thinking in new and user-centric ways. Working hand-in-hand with the product and engineering teams, you are responsible for identifying and designing solutions which serve organization needs, goals and requirements for a seamless experience. Work with the product team to create delightful mobile and web products that solve real user problems Design usable, accessible, and engaging user experiences for the web and mobile based on research and best practices Produce UI specs, high fidelity visual designs, creative graphics, iconography and cross product style guides Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor. Able to collaborate with business partners and build upon their vision using sound UX principles Produce wireframes, visual designs, style guides and pattern libraries Create working prototypes for demonstration purposes Inspire and mentors others on the design team

• Understanding of design techniques and principals involved in the production of conceptual prototypes and wireframes

• Thorough, methodical, and exhibits an extreme attention to detail
• Self-starter who is comfortable with minimal day-to-day guidance, expertly manages time and independently manages competing, simultaneous projects and deadlines
• Proficiency designing and developing prototypes using other industry tools
• Proficiency designing high-fidelity mockups using Photoshop, Sketch or other industry tools
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong problem solving skills
• Their design process and reasoning. The best candidates show multiple designs for a problem, and explain how they chose the final design.
• The ability to solve design problems and to accurately translate all stakeholders needs into a design solution
