Job Description

Understand problem statement and analyze requirements Conduct user research, interviews and surveys to capture user needs and requirements to help in deriving a user-centric design approach Create user journey maps and user flows based on user research and design requirements Work on Information Architecture and design user interactions with the help of wireframes Design GUI for a wide range of devices and interfaces that ensures intuitive user experiences Take user-centered design approach, create prototypes and rapidly test and iterate design output Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders and make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features Observe industry trends, update skills and adopt best practices and design approaches constantly Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

Skills

• Expertise and experience in wire-framing and rapid prototyping tools
• Ability to work with clients to understand requirements and discuss design concepts and ideas
• Understanding of best practices in mobile-first, responsive design.
• Sound understanding of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Lateral and analytical thinking with a fresh mind, keeping user in focus
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience and expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Adobe Experience Design, and the like is a must.
• Experience in Visual design/UI design using Adobe Suite
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
