Job Description

Translate client business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging. Generate clear ideas, user flows, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end. Practice User-Centered Design (UCD) in all stages starting with sketches and wireframes to high fidelity mockups and digital prototypes. Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability) Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

Skills

• Demonstrable UI and UX design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, Invison, Marvel App, Illustrator, or any Visual design and Wireframing tools.
• Proficiency in responsive web designing and knowledge about HTML and CSS
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software Photoshop & Sketch
• Knowledge about Design Language Systems eg- Apple's Human Interface and Material Design guidelines. Atomic Design system
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for design and a strong command of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout information hierarchy, typography, and color.

Handling a Team along with working with them to ensure that the website is functional and visually appealing. Plan the layout of the website. Liaise with the client to gauge their needs and expectations. Optimize websites for speed and scalability for various devices Develop new user-facing features Build reusable code and libraries for future use Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages Maintain and improve website Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Skills

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• experience with frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation.
• Understanding of version, repository and project management tools like jira, asana would be a plus
• Understanding of Jquery is a plus
• understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery is a plus
