Job Description

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers, to conceptualize and design the AI-assisted writing tool for fiction writers. Create user-centric designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback, and incorporating user research findings. Develop and iterate on design prototypes from concept to final hand-off to engineering. Design UI layouts, including pages, menus, and navigation, ensuring an intuitive user experience. Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design enhancements. Stay informed of current trends in design and technology related to AI and creative writing tools. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure aesthetic coherence and functional accuracy in the final product. Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.

Skills

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
