Job Description

Driving innovation in experience and service design and creating iterative design documentation, including user journey flows, wireframes, visual protocols, detailed behaviors, and implementation specifications Utilizing user research data and usage metrics to inform design choices and define a proven approach to discovering and mapping user needs, experiences, and customer journeys while developing new products and services Conducting user interviews to how best to serve their needs, solicit feedback and observe customer requirements and behaviors Actively collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other teams to design, refine, and validate user experience solutions based on research, market trends, and business goals, ensuring that all are in alignment with larger product objectives and initiatives Maintaining extremely high standards for usability, quality, and consistency by applying best-practice user-centered design principles

Skills

• Expertise in Figma and other relevant user-experience and user-interface software tools, including Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and Proto.io
• Demonstrated experience creating responsive design patterns and systems that employ best-practice user experience in addition to a solid foundation in UX design heuristics and a user-centered approach to designing software
• Deep understanding of best-practice interaction design principles and familiarity with accessibility and language changes
• A marked aptitude for identifying user needs, defining clear solutions, and delivering them through detailed design
• The ability to integrate feedback and validate and iterate on company products while being mindful of customers, contributors, and insights gleaned by support teams
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and a talent for creative problem-solving
