Job Description

Design new software interfaces to help individuals with their money Work with product managers and researchers to translate proposed functionality into meaning and experiences Talk with users about your designs and ideas. Listen and learn from them. And then advocate for them. You’ll do this some on your own, but especially in conjunction with our user research team. Clearly articulate design decisions and share your process when appropriate. Participate in critiques, workshops, design studios, and other design activities. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Be curious, resourceful, and have a desire to contribute to solving challenging information and communication design problems. Have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills; be self-directed, comfortable working independently, and able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience designing for software, web and/or digital products.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Sketch, Invision, Microsoft Office Suite, and Mac OS X
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Degree in a field related to human-computer interaction, design, library sciences, psychology, or communication
