Job Description

Execute all Visual Design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering. Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods. Translate wireframes and flows into visually stunning interfaces. Create pixel perfect assets, precise guidelines and easy-to-navigate documents Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience. Provide necessary support to product and engineering teams to help ship features and products. Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. colour theory, visual weight, etc.)

Skills

• 1 - 3 years of Agile Interface/Visual Design experience.
• Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts.
• Hands-on experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Proficient in image editing and digital sketching software like Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Illustrator, Indesign and After Effects.
• Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in User Interface and Visual Design.

Job Description

Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences with a focus on mobile web and apps . Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as the product and business teams.

Skills

• 6+ years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing solutions for mobile.
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Ability to manage the design team and creative elements of project. With accountability for online and offline design.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions aligned with our branding.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
