Job Description

- Crafting experience for web, mobile and various interfaces by working with the Product Design group, product managers, internal business stakeholders, documentation team and developers.- Understand underlying technical concepts and contribute to product requirement documents (PRDs)- Apply User Centered Design principles and solid interaction design skills to translate concepts to high fidelity prototypes and transfer them to UI development teams. The deliverables include use-cases, navigational flows, wireframes and design specifications in the form of interactive prototypes.- Demonstrate leadership and vision in determining and driving strategy decisions.- Evangelizing good design practices / values at cross-team meetings- Drive overall UI standards/patterns effort towards a unified design language- Act as a mentor or facilitator to new and junior members of design team.

Skills

- 8+ years of experience as an Interaction or UX designer preferably in Networking Domain.
- Previous experience in designing web-based business applications from concept to prototype.
- A passion for solving problems and making complex systems of interaction fluid and easy to use.
- Excellent communication skills. Designers must be able to express their ideas clearly and work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch) for generating wireframes and demonstrated ability to deliver high quality design output.
- Ability to multi-task. You need to be able to stay organized and meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects.
- A Bachelor and/or Master's in Interaction Design, HCI, Human Factors, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience in agile development a plus.
