Job Description

Executes art to support the JCPenney brand and marketing initiatives Works closely with art team partners to execute solutions that connect with our customer Establish a superior understanding of the JCPenney layout and art standards. Animates and delivers effective display ads and/or other digital assets Maintains accuracy and consistency of style by implementing art formats/standards. Interacts with art team, copy team & project management team Executes all revisions from Creative Manager and Project Manager Thorough understanding of effective creative design as well as all related production processes, including print and interactive Ability to listen effectively, independently communicate and engage with partners. And also understand stakeholders’ needs Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of the digital environment, including files, formats and best practices.
• Achieving high quality execution in a fast paced environment, with many changes in strategic and product feature/pricing direction.
• Full proficiency with MAC Adobe Suite design tools
• Steady communication with manager and fellow co-workers.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, cultivates networks with people across a variety of functions and locations within the organization
• Willingly steps out of comfort zone, and give creative feedback to the team
• Exercises good judgment with work/life balance
• Strong skills in typography, color and layout
• Drive for speed and attention to detail
• Ability to learn and adapt to new programs, systems and application updates
