Job Description

Oversee & respond to client briefs by reframing it to focus on the user, researching the industry & out-of-category domains, and identifying valuable user insights that will direct the team. Take a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate your deliverables. Plan, manage and/or execute user studies and reporting. Evaluate, map and enable the creation of design systems. Proactively in identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions. Visualise UX artifacts into client-facing formats, geared toward business impact and backed up by data. Map & prototype digital products, keeping in mind a range of devices & interfaces. Oversee team output and provide feedback & constructive criticism. Communicate & co-ordinate with our UI designers; Data & SEO analysts; Front-end, Back-end and App Developers to implement user experiences and prototypes.

Skills

• A keen understanding & experience with user-centred design methodologies & frameworks.
• Solid grasp of UI design principles, processes and design systems.
• Expertise in modern UX design & related software such as Adobe XD, Creative Cloud Libraries, Protopie and the like.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with clients and brand teams to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences.
• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or solo setting, including translating ideas into concrete design deliverables.
• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly oversee & deliver design solutions.

Job Description

Lead, mentor, guide, and support the development of junior and senior UI designers to ensure continuous development and progress of the team. The Lead UI Designer should be able to initiate and handle multiple projects and manage effectively and with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Build relationships with clients and understand the brand needs and customer problems, then recommend design and workflow solutions that help users achieve their goals. Work closely with project managers and others to define project requirement and specifications for proposed web and mobile initiatives. Work with UX, copywriters, business developers and the department lead to ensure visual integrity in final products. Oversee ongoing projects, ensuring that the final product delivers on client objectives. Continually explore opportunities to enhance, improve, and expand methodologies and work. Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas. Lead elements of pitches and proposal creation from a creative perspective, contributing your sound digital planning methodologies to estimates. Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future. Deliver and maintain documentation for all the visual standards and guidelines. Be responsible for researching and designing useful, compelling, and feasible interactions that delight end users.

Skills

• Online portfolio with specific examples of high-quality visual design work reflecting individual design thinking, teamwork, and impact on users.
• Adept and Nimble at learning new domains, technologies, and processes
• Self-motivated, execution-oriented, and ability to work autonomously
• A passion for observing user behavior and produce insights into design.
• Have experience working with technical teams to deliver high quality designs.
• Possess a deep knowledge of information architecture, usability, UI and UX Design.
• Have excellent oral/written communication, project management, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe XD, Photoshop. & Illustrator.
