Analyzed store space and layout to assess display design requirements. Arranged the products and props for all retail displays. Collaborated with vendors and team to develop and implement visual merchandising directives Communicated with the different departments involved in the process to ensure that all the projects are completed within timeline. Coordinated point of sale marketing programs for product. Created and modified drawings on a daily basis. Created concept plans/elevations/renderings as required for review and approvals. Created final design intent drawings (in CAD) for submission to vendors for cost estimating. Created prototypes for all the retail branches to stay in brand. Designed 3D design layouts for clients approval. Designed stores with End to End Design-Execution. Developed final designs with color and lighting schemes. Executed design and fabrication standards for department store construction and continued to investigate new finishes, details and technologies. Managed both the design process and developing clear & concise construction documents. Organized shop and fixture design for multiple retail brands. Researched current and upcoming design/industry trends/new concepts/materials/innovations. Sourced material samples, vendors, and designers to assist in design progression and evolving concept. Supervised the operations for store installations. Validated floor plans, store layouts and overall design – especially related to building codes and ADA compliances Worked with visual merchandisers and merchandisers to develop seasonal merchandise layout plans.

Skills

• The candidate must have the correct skill set in order to become a retail designer. He/ she should possess all the basic qualities that will help in his/ her career as a retail designer.
• Having some prior work experience always comes as an added advantage when looking for a job as a retail designer. Experience Required- 5 to 8 years
• It is important for the candidate to have prepared a portfolio of his/ her best work. This will give the employers a better idea of the skills that he/ she possesses and they will be able to analyze his/ her potential better.
• Someone who is immediate joiner & staying in Delhi/NCR would be preferable.
• Hands-on experience with 3ds Max, Photoshop & Auto Cad.
