Job Description

Full understanding of our shows and the marketing materials needed to support our brands, both consumer facing and for the sales team. Designing both print and digital media, including marketing collateral, thumbnails and logos. Design concept presentations and pitches. Design creatives that enhance the visual marketing strategy for each show including social posts, website sliders, newsletter templates. Create and edit compelling video and photographic content that will be showcased on our social channels and websites. Ability to animate, create GIFs and video a plus. Sit in on and participate in internal & external meetings with Sales, Partners, and other departments with an eye towards creative requirements and needs. Manage, prioritize, and execute multiple projects from concept to completion at once under tight deadlines. Oversee file and art transfers to 3rd party vendors and printers—developing strong working relationships to produce quality deliverables. Generate and present design and layout ideas for communications materials-- communicating and collaborating with subject matter experts as needed to develop content. Ability to lead project based work with Managerial guidance. Travel to assigned shows.

Skills

• Minimum 3-4 years working within a design department or other creative team environment.
• BFA and/or MFA degree in graphic/web design or equivalent experience.
• Online portfolio showcasing relevant projects that demonstrate the designer’s creativity and process.
• Strong knowledge of Visual Design, knowledge of layout, color, typography theory.
• Strong visual design skills and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Knowledge of Corel Draw a Plus!
• Ability to handle a high volume workload, timely and efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, ability to verbalize ideas and concepts.
• Fluency in popular social media platforms is essential.
• Flexibility to fast-paced, unpredictable deadlines, schedules and ability to prioritize projects accordingly.
• Must possess a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Professional level knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Travel is required. Approximately 3-6 times per year

About the Company:

Comic Con India (CCI) was started with an inaugural show in February of 2011 in Delhi. The first ever Indian Comic Con as it was called then was hosted at the open-air craft bazaar, Dilli Haat, in the capital. Held over 2 days, it featured 25 exhibitors and attracted close to 5000 visitors.
