Job Description

Work with UX designers and stakeholders to think creatively and present back final concepts and ideas Collaborate with the design team on overall design-related web and mobile strategies Create Style Guides and design assets to aid the development process Develop design deliverables for product and development teams Work closely with the development team to ensure they have the correct understanding of overall design and incorporated micro interactions Test the developed product against the given design direction to ensure execution is accurate Utilize design tools such as style guides, wireframes, user flows, storyboards, competitive analysis, and user research to inform design decisions Have an excellent eye for modern design and attention to detail

Skills

• 2+ years experience as a UX designer
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your UX and visual design skills
• Ability to define UX animations and micro interactions
• Ability to present your designs and communicate your solutions
• Proficiency in visual design best practices, including understanding color theory, visual hierarchy, typography, and iconography
• Experience with responsive/scalable solutions
• Experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch)
• Knowledge of good UX design principles a must
• Degree in design or closely related field a plus

Job Description

Define interactions, create wireframes, design low & high fidelity mockups/prototypes for these user flows and rapidly iterate to finalize design. Develop the design rationale and explain visual choices to cross-functional teams; express concepts verbally and visually. Identify key user flows and storyboards based on business requirements. Design UX that supports Users goals and behaviors. Work closely with development team to ensure design specs are implemented. Push creativity, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of approaching (and solving) a problem. Actively own and contribute to product brainstorming, user research, interaction design and visual design sessions.

Skills

• Overall 6 to 8 years of experience.
• Strong portfolio is mandatory
• Ability to establish Visual hierarchy, Layout, Typography, and Color effectively.
• Good Interaction Design sensibility.
• Good understanding of HCI designs thinking principles and methodology.
• Good understanding of information architecture, usability and accessibility.
• Eye for subtle UI details.
• Very good Photoshop and Illustrator skills

Improve upon the Interaction and User Interface of the current and new Verizon products for better User Experience.UX designer can also suggest an emphasis on the creation of new and interesting experiences by way advanced technology solutions in the market.Design Process Possess an in-depth understanding of the design process.Create Visual Design Document based on Verizon Design standards.Should be able to gather, analyze and document requirements.Research and analyze similar competitor products in the market.Should be able to translate requirements into high level interaction flows.Cross platform

Skills

• Formal Training in Design Bachelors In Design / Masters In Design or equivalent.
• Formal training on Visual design along with relevant experience.
• Formal training / Experience on Information architecture and HCI principles.
• Experience/ thorough knowledge of application and design production processes.
• Should have thorough knowledge and experience in Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Adobe Flash (preferred but not mandatory)

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in User Experience Design processes.
• Experience in creating navigation maps, Interaction flows, wireframes and Visual Design comps.
• Coordination with business and marketing teams to better understand the product strategy and market positioning.
• Performing client presentations at various project stages.
• Creating assets for the Prototype Team / Development Team.
• Coordinating with Programmer and Developer to execute the final user interfaces.
• Strong Planning and Organizational Skills that go along with proper time management.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
