    Job Description

    Conducting human-centred design research including planning research, ideation, synthesis and prototyping Creating user-centred designs by understanding requirements from the data analytics team on the application’s vision Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and UI mockups that clearly illustrate how the application functions Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

    Skills

    • You have an HCD track record: worked at design agencies, with design teams, or on design projects
    • You have applied design thinking approaches in the real world and are eager to dive deeper. You have a strong baseline familiarity with design methods and are committed to refining your craft.
    • You have prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
    • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
    • You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc.
    • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
    • You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics

The vision of the Centre is to establish an institution in India that is globally reputed for thought leadership and excellence in impactful, evidence-based behaviour change interventions for poor and marginalized populations.
