Job Description

Work in collaboration with product owners, clients and development team. Understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet user’s needs. Evaluate existing user experiences and identifying areas for improvement. Researching UX design and development techniques to find innovative and elegant solutions to complex UX problems. Create user-centric designs by considering user feedback, relevant metrics, and usability findings across multiple form factors including web, iOS and Android. Provide detailed wireframes, information architecture diagrams, mental models, personas, storyboards, user flows, and high/low fidelity prototypes. Present design work to the stakeholders for review and feedback. Work with engineering teams to ensure the integrity of user experience in the final product. Test application UI to ensure proper implementation and file bugs to track problems.

Skills

• Fluency in UX & prototyping software (such as Adobe XD, Invision, Flinto, Balsamiq or Sketch).
• Familiarity with user interface patterns for Web, iOS and/or Android.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills and ability to articulate design intent.
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as user experience principles and techniques
• Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Desirable Skills

• 8 or more years of experience in user experience design of products and software applications.
• Experience of designing user journeys in the financial domain.
• Familiarity with developer/engineer tools and SDKs.
• The ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work.
• Experience of working with businesses and stakeholders across geographies.
• Experience in developing rapid prototypes.
• Knowledge of the Scrum development process.
• Experience in planning and facilitating user research and usability tests.
