Job Description

Ownership of Interaction Design and User Experience Work closely with development teams and experience analysts (QA) to ensure that design specifications are implemented correctly Design decisions based on insights Owning User Testing and User Interviews Neat and purposeful designs on both formats — touch and click Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and UI design solutions, articulating design rationale both verbally and visually Manage and execute on the detailed design process; be able to extend high-level design to a greater-level of detail and comprehensiveness, resolve edge cases, provide documentation, and coordinate asset generation in collaboration with visual design Be able to extend a concept design system to other platforms, devices, form factors and screen sizes, in close collaboration with software engineers building the product in parallel Be able to create detail UI designs flowcharts and wireframes flows, design prototypes or simulations, and detail design specifications for UI behaviors, animations and transitions Drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules

Skills

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Design specializing in a relevant field (Interior/Fashion/Game/ Multimedia/ Textile/Industrial/Visual Communication/Digital Arts/Interior Architect/Product Design) from a reputed University
• 2-6 years of experience in a Design role
• Crisp Communication skills — what matters is how easily and strongly you can convey your thoughts, have constructive discussions with members of various functions who would agree and disagree with you
• Portfolio demonstrating expert use of typography, color, imagery, grid systems, and well-crafted animation/transitions
• Portfolio demonstrating sound product-thinking through navigation, user flows, interaction design and information architecture
