Job Description

Create wireframes and prototypes.Help design, build, and iteratively improve upon user interfaces for web and mobile.Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineeringBring simplicity and user friendliness to design challengesValidate designs through rapid prototyping, user research, design review and collaboration with the design, development and product management team.Conduct user research and evaluate user feedbackConceptualize and develop ideas for features and workflows on platform applications.Contribute directly to the development of products and features by providing front-end assets and deliverables.Desired Skills and ExperienceStrong understanding and ability to articulate aesthetic and visual design principles (layout, typography, color theory, etc.)Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop & IllustratorExperience in designing web applications with a capacity for simplifying complexity and ability to create wide-palatable UIs and workflows.Experience with testing methodologies (user testing sessions, A/B, etc.) preferred.Familiar with HTML & CSSExperience with JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Spring, or front-end MVC frameworks (Ember.js, Angular.js, etc.) preferred.Hands on years of relevant work experience, including demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces preferred.Bachelors Degree in Design/BFA or equivalent experience
