Job Description

Building, growing, mentoring, and providing direction for the user experience design team. Build a robust UX strategy for the Design function in close collaboration with Product, Tech, customers, and partners. Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products. Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications for web, mobile web, and app interfaces. Understand target users deeply: develop or work from user-profiles and conduct task analysis, create user scenarios or user stories. Quickly and thoroughly create diagrams, wireframes, detailed visual mockups, and prototypes to communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors. Design the information architecture, interface, and interaction flow of the web and mobile e-commerce experience. Direct the visual design of the web and mobile applications. Be a champion for user testing to get your solutions in front of customers, and be willing to conduct around-the-office user testing on your own if required. Present design work to the product team, executives, and external partners for review and feedback.

Skills

• Ability to lead a high performing team of UX/Product Designers
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
• Experience in designing low and high-fidelity interfaces using design best practices
• Experience in using tools such as Adobe Suite, InVision, Sketch, Figma (indicative, not exhaustive)
• Track record of having developed a design language that meets the business vision
• Advanced skills in problem-solving and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android, and iOS.
• Experience in carrying out usability study/testing and familiar with usability metrics
• Ability to work as part of an agile/scrum team
