Job Description

We, at Zelo, are looking for a rockstar UI/UX designer who understands what design truly is and has the right skills to further transform the design from a thought to action through his technical expertise.

Skills

Prior Design Experience: Prior experience designing complex applications for web and mobile with proficiency in creating design deliverables like wireframes, mockups, prototypes for network digital platforms such as Android and desktop.

Excellent Communication Skills: The role would involve working closely with the Product, Design and Engineering teams to assure designs and business needs are in coherence and executed properly. Hence, someone who can articulate his thoughts well and comes with a good cross-functional experience would definitely have an edge.

Ability to Work on Iterative Frameworks: Work through and enjoy the iterative review process at both wireframe and final mockup levels until the final agreement is reached on design.

Follow up after Execution: Follow up with technical team for getting your design live and analyze how to present design is being used by customers. Based on the analysis and business requirements, iterate over product design.

Tools Expertise: Should be adept at Sketching, Interactive Wireframing, Prototyping, Usability Testing with the proficiency to use Sketch and Adobe suite of applications like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.

Basically, If you understand the difference of responsibilities between UI designer and UX designer, do apply. RESPONSIBILITIES -Passion for pixel perfect design and strong command of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout information hierarchy, typography, color and is aware of the latest trends, patterns and practices in UX.-Ability to visualize wireframes into high quality design is critical.-Should have worked on very high-quality mobile and web design projects.-Work through the iterative review process at both wireframe and final mockup levels until final agreement is reached on design.-Stay informed on latest UX Design trends and technology.-Design education would be preferred.-Collaborate with other team members from different departments.-Take both work and fun seriously!

Skills

-Two or more years of user experience design experience for product, Web applications and/or mobile devices.

-Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique.

-Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail.

-Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps.

-Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and associated design tools.

- 1+ years experience in developing real world applications

- Prior experience of collaborating on large software project a plus

- Community contributions, blog posts, Stack Overflow, Github, etc.

- Expertise in HTML/CSS3 and familiarity with JS

- Ability to convert mockups to HTML pages with pixel perfect design

- Up to date with latest designs and web optimizations
