Job Description

Create personas, flows, journeys to define the user Develop design guidelines and collaborate with tech and product teams to build products Conduct user research and usability testing to create/refine product direction & product flows; Inform various stakeholders with insights captured Following the design thinking process and form-factor& guidelines to deliver user-flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, visual designs, storyboards, design/UX specs etc. Design across multiple form factors including web, mobile web, iOS and Android. Work closely with product managers and development & testing team to deliver the final product Help define product requirements by collaborative brainstorming and high-level prototyping with cross-functional teams. Consistently improve the product design according to user requirements and business needs Keep up to date with various design innovations and practices. Mentor junior designers to support their development and continuous progress.

Skills

• BS/BA/Masters in Design, Human Computer Interaction or related degree in Computer Science with an HCI specialty, Human Factors, Industrial Design or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience on designing delightful experiences for consumer facing products across web, mobile web and mobile apps
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as user experience principles and techniques.
• Ability to understand and interpret user problems within the context of the product/business and distil findings into actionable design recommendations and solutions.
• Complete grasp of design process with a keen eye for details
• Proficiency in UX Design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) or similar tools to create user interfaces.
• Ability to rapid prototype ideas with low to high fidelity (sketch, whiteboard, wireframes, etc- )
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated to work on your own timeline.
• Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and understanding of technology is a big plus.
• Portfolio or work samples showcasing design aptitude, creativity, depth of thought and the ability to solve complex design
