Job Description

Work collaboratively with software developers, business analysts, business stakeholders and end users, leading design to meet functional requirements throughout the planning and development lifecycle for a multitude of unique and different interfaces. Translate high-level requirements into wireframe layouts, visual designs and graphical elements. Is required to create and develop engaging user experiences. Define, maintain and evolve a look and feel with a modern style that is consistent across the enterprise. Evaluate Performance of UI designs during testing and in production; revise designs to meet performance benchmarks. Participate in all phases of system development life cycle, serving as primary liaison to stakeholders. Participate in creation of training modules and documentation for end users and IT team members as needed. Participate in the Quality Assurance process. Demonstrate accountability and initiative in the management of multi-issue workloads and take a pro-active role in apprising supervisor on project progress. Carry out all other duties as assigned by management.

Skills

• 3+ years of experience.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, should be able to crop, resize or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
