Job Description

Create design prototypes, including wireframes, mock-ups, and workflows of varying fidelity for the web, mobile, and responsive design, using applicable design software. Assist with establishing UI/UX standards for various software product lines. Assist in establishing a central repository and manage content to support UI/UX standards, release artifacts and communication of standards. Participate in design discussions and collaborative sessions with teams and stakeholders, offering and providing feedback on concepts and ideas. Collaborate with PMs, Customers, and other members of the UX and Engineering team to identify user needs and product specifications. Selectively present designs and work to teams and stakeholders, working with UX leaders to articulate and rationalize decisions. Be a productive teammate, actively helping leaders and peers to raise the bar while also capitalizing on ideas from others. Accurately estimate workload, providing team leads with the insight they need to manage and plan releases, while effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• 3+ years of experience working in a dynamic UX practice, ideally with Enterprise B2C Application design experience agency or consultancy background is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop design constraints and patterns. Experience with at least two form factors and platforms preferred.
• Understands user requirements and translating these requirements into strong user experiences.
• Experience with user research, including user interviews, needs analysis and using findings to inform the UX designs.
• Experience with archetypes, profiles, personas, scenarios, or other user-centered design artifacts
• Working knowledge of technology mediums, including familiarity with some of CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Material Design etc.
• Familiarity with adaptive and responsive techniques
• Experience working collaboratively with development teams in the iteration and definition of a design approach.
• Able to execute with limited oversight
• Strong verbal and writing skills, the ability to tell a story around an experience or solution.
• Familiarity with the Agile project methodology and SCRUM based development methodology is a plus
• Deep experience with at least some core UX design and implementation tools (Visio, OmniGraffle, Adobe CS, Invision, Azure, etc.)
• Experience in building websites with CMS tool - WordPress is an added advantage
