Job Description

Plan and design scalable web applications (SaaS) and mobile applications using code and visual design tools. Creating user requirement documents, Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes in collaboration with Business Teams Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by improving the usability, ease of use, and the interaction between the customer and the product. Knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Knowledge of wireframe tools and prototyping. Conducting user research, creating wireframes and designs, and ultimately aligning user behaviour to actions that drive results. Create both functional and appealing features that address customer needs and help in the growth of the business Identify industry best practices and propose and implement annual plans for optimisation and increased efficiency as per pre-defined success metrics.

Skills

• Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web and mobile devices
• Keen eye and capacity for creating highly usable designs and layouts and a propensity towards simplification
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, or other design tools
• Ability to prototype and demonstrate design concepts to extended stakeholders
• Open-mindedness and constantly looks to push the boundaries of the design
• Previous experience in a technology-based company or in growing businesses in emerging markets
• Familiarity with core web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Proficiency with web standards and accessibility compliance
• Preference for candidates that possess a good balance of UX and UI design skills and cover both roles, with good oversight of product
