Job Description

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer responsible for facilitating, generating and executing great user experiences for our clients and their end users. The candidate should be able to lead a team of UI designers, translating client requirements into system architecture and design requirements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. Responsibilities Understanding client requirements and translating them into system architecture and design specifications to be handed over to a team of UI designers User experience planning and development Creating user flows and generating wireframes for all use cases Responsible for the execution of strong interaction design and visual design principles Creating visual design guidelines for the UI design team Facilitating dialog around end-user requirements and business requirements Guiding clients through key design engagements Performing user research Driving innovative solutions within platform constraints and technical limitations Developing interaction models and conceptual frameworks of experience Researching interaction design trends Researching technology trends

Skills

• Five or more years of user experience design experience for web and mobile applications
• Strong conceptualization ability and strong visual communication ability
• Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, popular wireframing tools and associated design tools
• Extensive experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies across multiple platforms
• Clear leadership skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills
• Strong understanding of common software project management practices
• Strong understanding of common software development practices
