High-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviours Create information design concepts by means of maps, story boards, sketches, personas, agile stories, mood boards, navigation maps, prototypes and usability testing Develop and manage product style guide Execute interaction and visual design as part of multi-disciplinary team Deliver innovative and engaging prototypes Develop reusable design patterns and components for varied product needs Work closely with development and design teams to ensure that design specifications are adhered Ensure a unified experience and consistent brand identity across all digital platforma

Skills

• Ability to research, create and present user journey maps, user task flows, interaction models, storyboards, interactive prototype, specification documents
• In depth knowledge of user interface design patterns and information architecture
• Experience in using tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, InvisionApp, Marvel, etc.
• Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills; and the ability to quickly prioritise tasks
• Presenting concepts to stakeholders and project teams and effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually
• A general understanding of how Design impacts Development (and vice versa), along with a knack for constructing dynamic, interactive designs that are technically feasible/prudent.
• Managing and prioritizing your work to meet the work timelines.

Job Description

Builds web and mobile applications and interfaces using modern technologies. Work with developers, and QA engineers throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure user interface integrity. Ability to present ideas for feedback and iteration, and help facilitate and coordinate the implementation of a project from start to successful completion. Research and evaluate of alternative solutions or technologies. Occasionally require to work odd hours (US time zone). Participate in code review and project meetings.

Skills

• Minimum 7 years work experience with 5 years solid knowledge/experience in web development and at least 2 years or more in Responsive Web Design (RWD) and hybrid mobile applications.
• RWD, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery and AngularJS are REQUIRED for this position.
• The ideal candidate will have experience taking mockups and turning them into standards compliant RWD and achieving cross-browser compatibility in major browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari) and experience in creating hybrid mobile applications.
• Experience using bug tracking systems such as Bugzilla, Mantis, and/or OnTime are a PLUS.
• Experience with skinning CMS such as DNN, WordPress Ektron, and SharePoint 2013 are a PLUS.
• Experience with PHP and WordPress are a PLUS.
• Good communication skills (both in conversation and in writing). Must be a great communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Experience collaborating with offshore development resources is a plus.
