Job Description

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites/mobile app function and look like Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Skills

• Degree can be substituted with relevant and progressive experience
• 4+ years experience as UI/UX developer Designer or similar role
• Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience designing/developing Responsive UIs
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of Sketch will be a plus
• Experience with version control tools such as GIT
• Exposure to Agile is a plus
• Experience in developing map-based applications is a plus
• Good communication skills
