Job Description

Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval. Preparing finished art by operating the necessary equipment and software (Preferably: Adobe Illustrator, Indesign). Coordinating with a product manager, product designer, marketing team, and colleagues as necessary. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed. Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, website illustrations, and graphics, marketing deliverables like (ebooks, pdf, etc) Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or other animation software is preferrable.

Skills

• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Figma.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Experience with computer-aided design.

Job Description

Collaborate with the rest of the design team to evolve and refine our design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints Help build out design processes, tools, and culture Design web/mobile-based user journey, user flows and data visualization products Use data collected from research, user testing and market analysis to create truly user-centric designs Work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing and other teams to gather and generate actionable insights for feedback into the design process Illustrate and communicate complex design solutions across use cases by creating process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mock-ups Communicate design solutions to engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints Deliver products that are easy to use and visually appealing to our potential customers Use a variety of metrics to analyze and continuously improve the user experience Modify products in accordance with feedback from users and test groups Responsible for Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Visual Design and Usability Testing of our web applications Provide Product Managers and Engineers Style guide for application. Meet the existing and potential customers regularly and develop empathy for them.

Skills

• Educational background in a design field (such as UX or Interaction Design)
• Experience with user research such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing
• Knowledge of industry tools such as Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Zeplin and OmniGraffle
• Prior experience of building data visualization products
• Proven ability to take products from concept to market
• Sensitive to qualities of great design, with incredible taste
• Understanding of interaction design principles
• Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS experience and previous experience with startups would be preferred
