    Job Description

    Job Description: Graphic Designer (Analyst) Time Inc., US's and UK’s leading consumer magazine and digital publisher with more than 100 iconic media brands and Time Inc. India is looking for Graphic Designer with experience in Print publications. The candidate would work with the art department of New York to create dynamic layouts for all sections of our print publications, assigning illustration, and following established templates. Responsibilities • Report to the magazine’s design director and work closely with senior designers• Assist in creating digital artwork when needed• The ability to work efficiently to meet firm deadlines and juggle multiple layouts at onceQualification• Visual arts qualifications (fine art, photography, publishing, illustration or graphic design) or Bachelor in Fine Arts or Graduate/Post Graduate in Design, Non Design graduates with considerable experience and good work• Detail-oriented skills• A strong sense of typography, and be willing to take direction• Portfolio PDF or online link for considerationTechnical Skills• Adobe InDesign• Adobe Photoshop• Adobe Illustrator Other Skills • Have detailed knowledge of copyright law and licensing issues• Strong research skills• Team working skills• Communication & Negotiation skills• Presentation skills Experience: 5 years of magazine editorial experience. (Candidates with less experience that can demonstrate strong design skills achieved through work and/or internships will be considered.)
