    Job Description

    Lead the UX for client engagements and guide a project team of designers to create high-end, innovative UX solutions and experiences Conduct and lead effective research to include heuristic analysis, competitive/market analysis, user/stakeholder interviews, analytics assessment and the creation of personas/user journeys A strategic thinker when it comes to design recommendations based on best practices, user research and usability discoveries Define and lead the information architecture for complex content solutions Define and lead the creation of complex design solutions from user flows and concepts to detailed designs across multiple digital platforms (web, mobile, tablet and other connected devices) Formulate and conduct usability testing, analyzing results and extracting design recommendations Understand and recognize the importance of how data and analytics can inform design solutions Present to clients and effectively walk them through the design solution and our design process Prepare and facilitate on-site and off-site design and discovery workshops to capture key business and user requirements and insights Effective individual and project team time management to meet necessary deadlines Review client presentations and deliverables to ensure the highest quality of work is showcased Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the design effort is on track and within the specified timeline Work collaboratively with all disciplines throughout the entire lifecycle process to ensure a holistic and seamless delivery Be an integral part of our experience design team, continually helping to refine and evolve our design process, staying up to date on the latest design and technology trends Be a mentor to junior designers, providing guidance and professional development direction when needed

    Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience Design (UXD), Interaction Design or similar design focused degree (Masters a plus)
    • 5+ years professional work within the experience design field, preferably from a consulting or agency setting
    • 3+ years performing at a Senior UX Designer level
    • Experience in leading design tracks and small project teams
    • Expertise in experience design processes and methodologies, with recognizing the importance of analytics
    • Strong knowledge of contemporary design and development methodologies
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Omnigraffle, Axure, InDesign, Illustrator, Keynote, etc
    • Deep knowledge of design principles for iOS, Android and Web solutions (including Responsive Design AND Native Applications)
    • Familiar with web development standards such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and AJAX

    Skills

    • You have at least 4 years of professional work experience as a user interface or visual designer, preferably from a consulting or agency setting (end to end design solution)
    • You have strong knowledge of design principles for iOS, Android, Windows and Responsive web solution and of contemporary design and development methodologies (including: atomic design, live style guides, responsive design principles)
    • You're proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Omnigraffle and Keynote
    • You're familiar with web development standards such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and AJAX
    • You already built a strong portfolio with focus on entire project process, approaching problems and defining decisions, along with examples of work products and deliverables produced
    • You have a great understanding of research and designing best practices
    • You develop design concepts that put users first, while catering to key business goals
    • You understand and recognise the importance of how data and analytics can inform design solutions

    Tigerspike India is looking for a UI Lead who is excited to work alongside a talented group of innovators creating digital products. With the ability to dive into solving complex business challenges, you will be creating innovative, effective solutions across multiple digital platforms (single and/or cross-platform, multi-device experiences). Helping shape and oversee the creative vision, you will help deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand solutions to deliver the best customer experience.If you are passionate about interaction and visual design, typography, enjoy telling a story to solve business needs and a champion for helping shape and define great digital products, then Tigerspike could be the place for you!
