Job Description

Works on all aspects of design conception and implementation with supervision. Areas of work may include: communications, interaction, research/strategic, or environmental design for print media or digital delivery. Own work product, solving interaction design problems, high quality communication artifacts and internal expectation management. Help with planning & conducting usability studies, drafting surveys, conducting user interviews. Collaborate with designers, developers, architects, & product owners to establish the vision, requirements, & designs for Tibco’s products. Strong written and oral communication. Must be comfortable presenting to the team Must be a team player Able to identify obstacles Diligence and excellent attention to detail.

Skills

• Producing quality wireframes, user flows, site maps, and other design artifacts.
• Proficiency using design software like Sketch or Figma.
• Portfolio that demonstrates excellent process and visual communication showcased across multiple professional or school projects.
• Skills in annotation and design specifications.

You will serve as a proponent of user-centered design within and outside the company Will advocate for users and the role of design in the product development process You will incorporate and share new techniques based on industry trends Embody and advocate for the mission and goals of Product Design within Citrix Collaborate within the design team and with cross-functional teams Work closely with user researchers and contribute to research strategies Understand the mission and goals of Product Design and communicate to product teams Will actively communicate and share information with design teammates to ensure UI/UX pattern alignment across platforms and products Receive, weigh, and integrate feedback from cross-functional teams Provide solutions with strategic intention Understand business goals, strategy, and product offerings Offer solutions that consider business goals and the impact across all products Communicate design work within the design team and with cross-functional teams Present designs in a clear, confident, and logical manner Explain rationale for design decisions within a larger context Regularly share design iterations and project updates with management and team

Skills

• Demonstrate high proficiency in creating low- to high-fidelity: wireframes, designs concepts, prototypes, and technical documentation using industry tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe CreativeCloud, InVision, Axure, Microsoft Office).
• Demonstrate a passion for design, our users, and collaboration with designers and cross-functional team members.
• Have a solid portfolio showcasing work that exhibits attention to detail and articulates design decisions .
• Possess working knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React); experience with front-end coding a plus

Manage stakeholder expectations and own overall project delivery from design through development. Expertise in industry standard design tools and applications Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects; effective time management Excellent written and oral communication Ability to develop strategic practices and standards beyond the needs of an individual project. Identify and resolve client issues, tight deadlines, competing priorities, etc. Work closely with others to instill best practices for implementing a unified visual design language across all of TIBCO’s products Work with other designers to create beautiful comps, style guides and production assets. Work closely with Engineering and QA teams through development and implementation cycles Champion an interdisciplinary team that includes interaction designers, copywriters, product managers, and engineers

Skills

• Portfolio demonstrating both UX and visual design across, mobile, desktop or cloud-based applications; deep knowledge of design principles and proper execution of design.
• Experience in designing enterprise applications preferred
• Experience working in agile software teams
• Experience with product management tools like Click Up and JIRA
• Experience in QA, filing defects, and enhancement tickets
• Experience working with front-end developers, delivering specs and assets
• Solid knowledge of the interconnection between visual design and interaction design
• Experience building HTML/CSS prototypes
• Knowledge of web accessibility
