Job Description

Establish a user centered design approach and process, ensuring that all experiences are developed in alignment with customer needs and input; translate analytics, usability and field research into design ideas and improvements Drive the creative direction of the new digital experience, create an interaction model that is optimal across devices and digital channels Create and manage partnerships to access world class design talent to support initiative; potentially hire and train small internal team to support and sustain innovation over time Ensure high quality designs are delivered in accordance with program schedule Partner with the development team to ensure technical feasibility and flawless implementation Maintain a visual design and editorial style guide for the site, ensure future releases maintain Stay abreast of latest design and technology trends for all platforms.

Skills

• 3 or more years of user experience design experience for software, Web applications, which leverage understanding of User needs, emergent technologies and mobile devices.
• Experience with user interface design patterns.
• Prior experience in developing user interactions for IOS, Android and Windows.
• Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique.
• Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail.
• Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps.
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and associated design tools and material design principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of common software project management practices.
• Understanding of common software development practices.
