Job Description

We are looking for a head of graphic design who is great at online communication through visual design and can operate independently on the following: 1) execution based collaterals i.e. online banners, designs for social media campaigns, newsletters… (60%) 2) have a clear thought process on how to lift the design/ look and feel of our site/mobile app to the next level (20%) 3) can lead the visual design process for the site, manage a team and outside partners (20%) Design aesthetics which understands the luxury segment is important as is knowing the difference in creating for an e-commerce company and a luxury online store. Through our designs, we want to be able to bring the unique offline experience of shopping at a Chopard or a LV store, online. Knowledge of designing for the mobile form factor is crucial.

Skills

• At least 4+ years of experience in creating rich interactive websites
• Ability to understand/create a unique visual identity
• Creating style guides and standards for UI
• Conceptualize and create artwork for all conversion aspects of the site like banners, online ads, and email newsletters
• Translate the brand in visually stunning and convincing design for web, offline advertising, packaging and all other touch points in the customer journey
• Manage the design calendar and eventually hire and train junior graphic designer
• Take active part in user research and testing

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and innovative designer who will spearhead Graphic Design for The Luxury Closet and help us build the largest luxury marketplace.

Skills

• At least 4+ years of experience in creating rich interactive websites
• Ability to understand/create a unique visual identity
• Creating style guides and standards for UI
• Assist the Content Manager in the day to day operations of running a luxury e-commerce site
• Conceptualize and create artwork for all conversion aspects of the site like banners, online ads, and email newsletters
• Translate the brand in visually stunning and convincing design for web, offline advertising, packaging and all other touch points in the customer journey
• Manage the design calendar, hire and train junior graphic designer
• Take active part in user research and testing

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in graphic design (UI/UX)
• Experience with eCommerce / transactions sites a must
• Experience with mobile design/workflow
• Must have previously designed for web
• Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken
