Job Description

- Brainstorming, thinking creatively and using imagination to produce new ideas - Creating a project timeline and meeting deadlines- Working with printers or others to ensure the quality of the final productliaising with clients and other members of the design team in order to understand and interpret the needs of the project- drawing rough sketches for approval and producing final illustrations- analysing a brief's specification and the text to be illustrated as well as researching sources- creating images and designs by using the traditional hand skills of drawing and painting, alongside other techniques, to meet design briefs- using computer-aided design (CAD) packages to scan images and change size, colours and other elements- providing roughs for approval- redefining a brief through further consultation and regular communication with the client to include new ideas or text as appropriate- working within a set time scale, often to tight deadlines

Skills

- Industry experience of 2-3 years

- Should have good artistic and technical skills

- Along with being good with illustrations, should also be good with Comouter Aided design and posses working knowledge of Adobe tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign). Knowledge of web designing will be an added bonus.

- Should have excellent communication skills

- Any Fine arts, graphic design or illustration qualifications will be helpful
