Job Description

Initiate and drive HCD workshops with stakeholders and other colleagues in the Bank Structure your own projects with a clear delineation of research, testing, design, and then testing Identify UX and UI trends in the market and bring them to the table, with good reasoning and purpose, for our team to learn from and get inspired Conduct user testing remotely and in-person(if/when applicable) Be tool agnostic, not married to a single tool but open to trying many in order to identify the best one for the task at hand Design new features for our platforms, and take complex tasks and simplify them into intuitive experiences Participate in UX and UI activities including Ethnographic Research, Journey Mapping, Mental Modelling, Wireframing, and UI Design Develop design concepts through wireframing and leveraging visual UI assets from a component library, and help build out our component library as you identify new opportunities to grow it Meet with technology teams to help support bringing UX into their design and engineering process

Skills

• Strong influencing and English communication skills(oral, written, and presentation), able to easy articulate yourself and empathise with our international audience.
• Strong research skills, knowledge in the latest best practices for researching human behaviour and natural response.
• Experience with research and design tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, Framer, Invision, Principle, Axure, Mural, Optimal Workshop. Must be at least capable with Sketch and Zeplin.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and engineering terminology to facilitate communication with engineering teams. No need to code, but must be able to and comfortable with explaining your designs to an engineering team.
• Degree in a relevant design discipline such as product, graphic or communications design, or have enough experience and products on the market to justify not having this type of degree.
• Strong understanding of visual elements (Layout, Type, Fonts…)
• A passion for creating products and services that resonate emotionally with people.
