Execute the design projects across the entire product life cycle of the smallcase Publisher platform. You collaborate and contribute to build the vision for the user experience Be meticulous. Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way. Work with multi-disciplinary teams as you’ll interact closely with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. Rapidly produce multiple concepts; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes. Test the flows, screen implementations, copy/content, to ensure the end customers’ experience is top-notch. We take that very seriously. Ensure all this is done and dusted in tight timeframes and constraints. That’s where we expect the problem solver in you to come up with uber-quick feasible solutions. Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the fields of user-interface, user-experience, information-architecture and more.

Skills

• Have an excellent sense of visual (typography, font pairings, color theory & visual hierarchy) and interaction skills (micro-interactions & animations) along with proficiency in UI and interaction design tools - Sketch / Figma / After Effects / Photoshop / etc.
• Has a stronghold on common UX patterns, UI Patterns for different platforms & form-factors
• Have a good understanding of prototyping & Information Architecture

You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate Let customers lead the way by understanding and listening to the customers with a suite of research methods (surveys, feedback loops, user interviews etc.) to make sure we are designing for the right users and we understand their needs and problems. Be meticulous. Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way Work with multi-disciplinary teams as you’ll interact closely with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. You’ll provide the thought leadership to develop the right product strategy. Together, you’ll solve problems and come up with solutions that delight our customers Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes Test the flows, screen implementations, copy/content, to ensure the end customers’ experience is top-notch. We take that very seriously. Lead and set an example for junior designers, help them with their tasks if required to ensure they grow to become great product designers themselves.

Skills

• Stronghold of prototyping, Information Architecture (holistic and screen level), Competitive Analysis, A/B testing
• Has strong communication skills to make sure all stakeholders (business, product, engineering, support, marketing + growth) are on the same page and have similar expectations of the goals and results
• Experience with HTML + CSS + JSS
• Has stronghold on common User research methods, UX patterns, UI Patterns for different platforms
• Good sense of typography, font pairings, visual hierarchy, etc

Job Description

Work with the product team and other designers to take concepts from idea, through to sketches and wireframes and to high-fidelity designs and prototypes Work with multi-disciplinary teams as you’ll interact closely with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges Support the team through more isolated phases of the design process Rapidly produce multiple concepts; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes Support the design team with a variety of needs such as updating design system as per the central design library, as well as implementing UI improvements. Conceptualising and creating graphics/ illustrations based on requirements. Support sales activities like newsletters, case studies, product documentation etc. Use appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic. Coordinate and participate in research to help gather user insights. Lead design audits, analyze all the design elements used across all Gateway products in order to ensure that they're in sync with the design system Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the fields of user-interface, user-experience, information-architecture and more
