Job Description

Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across web platforms. Leverage APIs for deep integrations with web platforms. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native. Writing application interface codes using JavaScript or Typescript following react.js workflows. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality. Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts. Monitoring and improving front-end performance.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Create artful illustrations and 2D & 3D animations of scientific concepts and processes that will be used in video production and social media marketing Create illustrations and animations for course promotion videos that are creative, innovative and engaging Create layouts for videos that strike a balance between presenting information using video, text, illustrations and animations. Bring in innovative ideas to effectively show complex scientific concepts and processes in its simplest form Should have a thorough understanding and knowledge of colours, textures, fonts, illustrations and layouts Be a custodian of our branding guidelines and be confident in advocating the brand internally and externally.

Skills

• Demonstrable experience gained in an agency environment or digital brand
• An influencer who has the ability to study, understand and predict design trends.
• Strong creative storytelling, eye for detail and design communication
• Flexibility in managing tight deadlines and yet balancing creative output
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups at all levels of an organization
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
• 3DS Max (or Maya)
• Knowledge in Blender will be given preference
