Job Description

You will be part of a global Design community and will be based in Bangalore, India. You will work in a cross-functional agile environment alongside UX team-members, system architects, engineers, … and promote user-centricity through research, co-creation, prototyping, testing and iteration. The Design function aims to deliver a coherent and excellent user experience, by leading change, understanding users and partners, sharing knowledge, building solutions and evolve standards for the design of digital Signify lighting products. You will work closely with our global Digital Design lead and other designers (in the US, the Netherlands and China) in the creation of excellent eco-systems and services and are expected to coach and help mature local team members.

Skills

• Proven experience in designing mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
• A talent for articulating ideas and presenting your work.
• Fluency with industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe suite, Axure RP, etc.
• Proficient in English

Conceive Visual Interaction Design that (measurably) improves the core workflows of real users and delights them along the way. Design user interfaces, create pixel perfect screens, assets and illustrations and animate micro-interactions for Interact software products. Develop visual mockups, prototypes and documentation that effectively communicate design intent. Make use of and contribute to our design language system, coach junior team members and grow our UX competence. Support UX researchers in conducting studies and effectively apply findings in your work.

Skills

• Bachelor degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic arts or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in designing mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
• A talent for articulating ideas and presenting your work.
• Fluency with industry-standard design tools (Sketch, InVision, Adobe CS, Flinto, etc.)
• You have a deep understanding of composition, balance, symmetry, and white space.
• You have a highly refined aesthetic sense and can both work within and expand the Interact style.
• Able to create high fidelity interactive prototypes of screen flows that visualize micro-interactions / motion design when relevant.
• Proficient in English
